Overview
Sales Recon is a Chrome extension that provides AI-powered sales intelligence. This policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.
Data We Access
When you explicitly trigger a scan, the extension reads the visible text and meta tags (title, description, keywords) of the active tab. This content is sent to the Pickaxe AI API solely to generate your sales intelligence report. We do not passively monitor your browsing or collect data from pages you have not chosen to scan.
A custom prompt you optionally enter to tailor AI responses to your product or role. This is stored locally on your device and included in API requests to Pickaxe.
Your license key is stored locally on your device and sent to ExtensionPay solely to verify your subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. No payment or billing information ever passes through the extension.
Data Storage
Your selling context and license key are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. No data is stored on our servers.
Third-Party Services
- Pickaxe AI Receives page content and selling context to generate reports.
- ExtensionPay Receives your license key for subscription validation. Payments are processed by Stripe.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties.

- Browsing history
- Personal or identifying information
- Financial or payment information
- Data from pages you have not explicitly chosen to scan
